1. Specimen Collection:

Nasal Swab: Insert the swab 2-3 cm into the nostril. Rotate gently for 5 seconds to collect the sample.

Nasal Aspirate: Use the suction device provided to collect the sample.

Pharyngeal Swab: Insert the swab into the throat, avoiding contact with teeth or tongue. Rotate gently to collect the sample.

Precaution: Use one swab per patient.


2. Sample Preparation:

Nasal Swab: Insert the swab into the extraction buffer tube. Squeeze to extract liquid.

Nasal Aspirate: Dilute the sample with saline and mix with the extraction buffer.

Pharyngeal Swab: Insert the swab into the extraction buffer tube. Squeeze to extract liquid.

3. Sample Application:

Hold the sample tube firmly. Dispense 3 drops of the prepared sample into the test device’s sample well.

4. Result Interpretation:

Wait 3-5 minutes for results.

Positive: Two colored lines appear—one at the control line (C) and one at the test line (T).

Negative: One colored line appears at the control line (C).

Invalid: No lines or only a line at the test line (T). Repeat with a new test.
